An experienced Oxfordshire gardener

Before setting up his own business in 2014, Nick Boden worked at the National Trust’s Buscot Park, and another highly regarded private Oxfordshire garden.  Working with Nick you should expect:

  • A knowledgeable yet practical approach to gardening – Nick gained his RHS Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture several years ago, but just as important is his hands-on experience.
  • A considerate & open-minded attitude – listening to your requirements and working to fit those.
  • A professional & reliable service at a price that’s fair for everyone.

Nick’s enthusiasm and drive is soon apparent to anyone that works with him, but so also is his considerate nature.  Whilst caring for your garden you can be confident that he will listen closely to your requirements, achieving the results that you want for your garden.

A bit more about Nick

As the son of a Head Gardener, Nick grew up in some beautiful places. From the age of 5 he lived on the tiny island of St Michael’s Mount in Cornwall, and grew up climbing the rock faces, jumping off the pier and going to school by boat each day. Later the family moved to live in the stunning grounds of Upton House in Warwickshire.

Nick now lives in Stanford-in-the-Vale, Oxfordshire with his wife Libby and two children.

One of Nick’s personal interests revolves around cacti.  He has an ever growing collection of interesting and rare plants, and is a committee member of his local Cactus and Succulent Society branch, taking part in events such as the Oxford Show and Blenheim Palace Flower Show.  He travels to Belgium each year to meet up with cacti and succulent hobbyists from further afield and to buy interesting plants from international growers.
